Cambridge primary assessments are planned for identifying and diagnosing the learners’ needs. The educators keep track of the learners’ aptitude in course skills through a variety of formative & summative assessments.

We have Unit End Tests , Assessment of Learning ( AFL’s ) and Term end Assessments (2 TEA’s).

Based on continuous evaluation, each child at Ambitus receives ability-based support to help them realize their full potential through guidance and insightful feedback. A student-led S T A R Meet (parent-teacher conference) is held each month to assess each child’s development. Based on the students’ potential and what they are learning, timely intervention is planned to help the students improve on areas of weakness and see that the child reaches the potential in the strength areas.

At the end of Grade 5 students appear for an external examination regulated by Cambridge referred to as the ‘Primary Checkpoint Examination’. The core subjects are English, Mathematics, and Science, and diagnostic and individualized feedback is provided to the students. In continuation to these assessments, the students appear for the school-level assessments for all the subjects offered at the school.
