Cambridge Early Years
It gives children the best start in life helping them to meet key early milestones and thrive in and outside of school.
The curriculum places the child at its center because it is play-based. It is an all-encompassing curriculum that considers the child as a whole and makes connections between their growth and the people and environment around them. The learning at EY grades is split into six learning areas, but these are all connected and taught together as children play and discover world around them.

Mathematics
Mathematical learning includes – Numbers, counting sequences, and early introductions to addition and subtraction. Children will observe and know about different Shapes, patterns, sizes, and weights in and around. They will also learn the time concept.
Learning Math – is planned in three stages, which is, the concrete-representational-abstract approach which will help children develop and secure an understanding of abstract concepts and build solid foundations for future learning.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
This area underpins the child’s well-being and attainment in all other areas of their learning. It helps them to develop social learning and friendships, regulate their emotional responses, respond to the needs of others and develop self-esteem and confidence.
Physical development

Understanding the world
The child’s experiences and observations are taken as a basis for developing their understanding of the world around them. Importantly, the natural curiosity of the child forms the center of learning in this skill, they learn to reflect, question, explore, and interact with the world around them.
