In these Grades (6-8) assessments are planned to check the students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding. This assessment helps the teachers’ to identify and diagnose the learning needs measure and benchmark the learners’ potential.

It also helps to predict the grades in qualification such as Cambridge IGCSE plans for interventions to help students improve on areas of weakness and reach their potential in strength cases.

We have Assessment of Learning (4 AFL’s ) and Term end Assessments (2 TEA’s).

Based on continuous evaluation, each child at Ambitus receives ability-based support to help them realize their full potential through guidance and insightful feedback. A student-led S T A R Meet (parent-teacher conference) is held each month to assess each child’s development. Based on thestudents’spotential and what they are learning timely intervention is planned to help the students improve on areas of weakness and see that the child reaches the potential in the strength areas.

At the end of Grade 8 students appear for an external examination regulated by Cambridge referred to as the ‘Lower SecondaryCheckpoint Examination’. The core subjects are English, Mathematics, and Science, and diagnostic and individualized feedback is provided to the students. In continuation to these assessments, the students appear for the school-level assessments for all the subjects offered at the school.
