Cambridge IGCSE assessment takes place at the end of the course that is at the end of Grade 10. It is graded from A*-E.

The assessment structure is adaptable. The linear assessment framework makes the most of instructional time and promotes a thorough understanding of the material being covered. At Ambitus, ongoing evaluations of students’ progress are conducted through formatives, diagnostics, unit tests, and term exams.

At the end of Grade 10, students appear for an external examination regulated by Cambridge referred to as IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) board examination in all their chosen subjects.

The Grade 10 IGSCE exams are equivalent to the UK GCSE. Many universities worldwide ask for a combination of Cambridge International A levels and Cambridge O levels to meet their entry requirement.
